Military Breakthroughs In Gezira and Khartoum States

On Friday morning, the Sudanese Armed Forces launched extensive military operations in Khartoum and Al Gezira states. Eyewitnesses reported that the army, along with other regular forces and popular resistance units, initiated a ground offensive using various weapons, supported by aerial cover, targeting areas in Khartoum Bahri, western Omdurman, and Al Gezira State.
According to military sources, the army advanced towards northern and central parts of Bahri city, securing full control over the Samrab district near the East Nile area. During this offensive, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) suffered significant personnel and military equipment losses.
In another development, the armed forces reportedly reclaimed new positions in the Um Badda locality and tightened their siege on the Libya Market in the centre of the locality.
In Al Gezira State, eyewitnesses noted that the western contingent surpassed strategic areas, paving the way towards Wad Madani, the state’s capital. Sources should have considered the possibility of entering the city in the near future.
