Workshop to Develop and Qualify Wad Madani Referees with Participation of International Experts

A workshop to develop and qualify football referees in Wad Madani commenced on Thursday morning at the Consul Hazem Mustafa Hall at the headquarters of the Madani Local Football Association. The workshop is organized by the Referees Committee of the Madani Local Football Association under the association’s sponsorship, as part of efforts to enhance referees’ capabilities and improve their technical and physical performance in preparation for upcoming sporting competitions and commitments.

The workshop features lectures by international referee Hafez Abdelghani Jamil and international fitness trainer Al-Muizz Ahmed Osman. Its activities will continue from October 29 to 31, 2026, featuring theoretical lectures and practical exercises aimed at strengthening referees’ understanding of the laws of the game, improving their technical and physical abilities, and keeping pace with the latest developments in football refereeing.

The opening ceremony was attended by Hassan Al-Sir, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Madani Local Football Association, alongside several board members and members of the Referees Committee.
