12 Killed—Including 4 Saudis, a Sudanese, and an American—in Latest Houthi Attack on King Khalid Airport

The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced that the “brutal attack” targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, October 10, 2026), resulted in the deaths of 12 people. These included four Saudi citizens, one Sudanese resident, and one American resident.
The statement added that six other residents also died as a result of the attack: two Bangladeshi nationals, and one national each from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Palestine. Additionally, 309 others were injured.
The statement noted that the injured are “receiving the necessary medical care at various hospitals,” with some suffering critical injuries. It expressed prayers for God’s mercy upon the deceased and a speedy recovery for those injured, adding that the attack caused material damage that is currently being assessed.
