SAF Downs Drone in North Kordofan

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) has announced their air defenses succeeded on Sunday to shoot down a hostile FH-95 drone north of the “Al-Kukaiti” area in North Kordofan State.

The brief post on SAF Facebook page, has provided no further details regarding the incident; however, posts from the past two days indicated that fierce fighting had taken place between the Sudanese Army and the rebellious Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the West Bara and Sodari localities, North Kordofan.
During these clashes, SAF has come close to completely expelling the RSF from the state’s urban centers.
