Zain Prepares for Launching the 3rd Session of its Vocational and Craft Training Project for Youth

Zain Sudan has finalized preparations for launching the third Sesssion of the “Zain Vocational and Craft Training Project for Youth” for 2026. This initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts aimed at empowering Sudanese youth with practical and technical skills. These skills are designed to enhance youth prospects in the labor market and entrepreneurship, while preparing them to contribute to reconstruction and the refairbishment of houses, institutions, and infrastructure damaged by the war.

The company will soon open applications for the program, which follows two previous cycles that successfully trained and qualified over 2,000 young men and women across various vocational and craft fields.

The third cycle focuses on providing practical training pathways that meet labor market demands, enabling youth to acquire skills that open doors to employment or to establishment of their own businesses.

Training sessions will be held at six centers—located in Kassala, Omdurman, Karari, Singa, Hafeer Mashu, and Wad Madani—with the possibility of adding more locations. The curriculum covers a range of technical and vocational specializations, including artificial intelligence, advanced web technologies, solar energy systems, and digital transformation, alongside mobile phone maintenance, automotive mechanics and diagnostics, refrigeration and air conditioning, carpentry, and baking. Zain announced that applications are open to Sudanese youth aged 18 and older who are literate. Applications can be submitted through various channels, including online portals, QR code scanning, and paper forms available at training sites and company offices.

The company encouraged those interested in the training opportunities to follow its official social media pages and local media outlets to stay updated on available training centers and application links as soon as they are announced.

The launch of this third cohort is part of the ongoing “Zain Vocational and Craft Training Project for Youth,” which aims to build young people’s capacities, develop their practical and technical skills, and enhance their prospects for employment, productivity, and entrepreneurship.
