Sudan Condemns Houthi Attacks on Southern Saudi Arabia

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation condemned on Tuesday the attacks launched by the Houthi group agains areas in southern Saudi Arabia.
In a press statement, the Ministry considered the attacks a threat to the Kingdom’s security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens, as well as to the security and stability of the entire region.
The Sudanese government, through the Foreign Ministry statement, affirmed its full solidarity with and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, in confronting all threats to its security, sovereignty, and stability. It also reaffirmed the Kingdom’s right to take all necessary measures to protect its territory and citizens, in accordance with international law.
The statement reiterated Sudan’s firm position calling for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and the rejection of acts of violence and escalation that threaten regional peace and security.
