The forum addressed ways to enhance the strategic partnership established between the two countries in 2015, which has roots dating back to 1959, and to elevate it under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
The Chargé d’Affaires noted that 2026 is the Year of Cultural and People-to-People Exchange between China and Africa, citing the participation of Sudanese journalist Mohamed Al-Zubair in the “Discover China” program alongside a group of international journalists. He emphasized that China stands with developing countries.
For his part, Mr. Mohamed Al-Zubair from Sudan TV shared his experience in the “Discover China” program at the China International Media Exchange Center, which brought together approximately 100 journalists from around the world for three months, including 11 journalists representing the Arab world.
During his time in China, Al-Zubair gained firsthand knowledge of the Chinese government and people. He expressed his gratitude for their warm welcome and hospitality, noting that the Chinese people possess a deeply rooted civilization, noble principles and values, and a peaceful nature.
He added that China is one of the safest countries in the world, governed by a sound political system that serves the national will.
