Burhan Congratulates Afwerki on Eritrea’s Independence Day

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, sent a congratulatory cable to President Isaias Afwerki on the occasion of Eritrea’s Independence Day.

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council expressed his sincerest congratulations and best wishes for health and happiness to President Afwerki, and for progress, prosperity, and growth to the government and people of Eritrea.
Burhan praised the depth of bilateral relations and the strong bonds of brotherhood, affirming the Sudan’s determination and commitment to developing and strengthening existing relations between the two countries and advancing joint cooperation in all fields to confront current challenges and threats.
