Sudan Condemns Attack on Saudi Arabia’s East-West Oil Pipeline

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation condemned the attack targeting the East-West Oil Pipeline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued Saturday, the ministry affirmed Sudan’s unequivocal rejection of attacks on civilian, vital, and economic infrastructure, describing such acts as a flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a serious threat to its security and stability.
The ministry expressed Sudan’s full solidarity with and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming its right to protect its security, sovereignty, and resources. It stressed that such attacks constitute a dangerous and unacceptable escalation that threatens regional security and peace.
The Sudanese government renewed its rejection of all forms of aggression and escalation, calling for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and for their security, resources, and vital infrastructure to remain protected.
