Sudanese Armed Forces: Major Field Victories and the Destruction of Militia Forces in Several Fronts
Khartoum — Sudanhorizon
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced the execution of a series of precise operations and decisive strikes against the terrorist Dagalo militia and its mercenaries during the past 72 hours, confirming significant field advances on the Blue Nile, Kordofan, and Darfur fronts.
In a statement issued Thursday, the army spokesperson said that SAF has established full control over the “Maqja” area on the Blue Nile front after battles in which the militia suffered heavy losses in personnel, the destruction of four combat vehicles, the capture of several fighters, and the escaping of the remaining remnants.
On the West Kordofan front, SAF has successfully thwarted an attempt by the militia to expand its operations eastward from the “Al-Sunut” area. The statement explained that SAF dealt with the hostile forces with high efficiency, destroying a strike force that included 10 tanks, 6 armored vehicles, and 18 combat vehicles, thus completely dispersing the attacking force.
In a related development, precise operations targeting militia infrastructure were carried out in Darfur. In South Darfur, the army destroyed drone launch platforms and weapons, ammunition, and fuel depots, crippling the enemy’s operational capabilities. Operations in Central and North Darfur, conducted concurrently with those in North Kordofan, resulted in the destruction of 13 additional combat vehicles and inflicted casualties on the rebels.
The spokesperson emphasized that these victories reflect the armed forces’ field superiority and their determination to liberate all national territory and restore security and stability, reiterating the commitment to continue operations until the rebellion is eradicated.
