Sudan’s Minister of Digital Transformation Participates in the Barcelona Mobile World Congress

Engineer Ahmed Dardiri Ghandour, Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications, participated in the Ministerial Program of Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2026, one of the world’s leading platforms for dialogue on digital transformation policies and the future of technology.
The program brought together ministers, policymakers, and technology leaders to discuss key issues shaping the future of the global digital economy, including digital governance, building a resilient digital infrastructure, and leveraging modern technologies.
During the discussions, Sudan highlighted its ongoing efforts to develop its national digital ecosystem, expand digital government services through the “Baladna” platform, and strengthen international partnerships to support innovation and digital connectivity, opening new horizons for citizens, according to the Sudan News Agency.
As Sudan progresses on its digital transformation path, participation in international platforms like MWC contributes to building partnerships, exchanging expertise, and opening new avenues for investment and cooperation, supporting the country’s vision for a more resilient and inclusive digital future.
