Al-Burhan Receives Congratulatory Messages from Kings and Presidents

Today (Thursday), the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received a number of congratulatory cables from several kings, presidents, and leaders on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Sudan’s independence.

The messages included cables from Russian President Vladimir Putin, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Emir of the State of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Chairperson of the African Union Commission Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.

He also received, last evening, similar messages from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as another message from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
