The African Journalists Union Commends the Role of Media Professionals in the Battle of Dignity

The Union of the Africans Media Personnel has commended the participation of media professionals in covering the heroic epics performance of the Sudanese Armed Forces as they fought terrorism on behalf of the world in the Battle of Dignity.
A statement issued on Friday by the Union explained that Professor Awni Qandil, Chairman of the Union, has stressed that the participation of the media groups in covering these development, moment by moment, stems from their belief that the work they are doing is a duty towards the Sudanese people who should be kept informed through coverage from the scene.
The statement added that the media professionals’ participation in heroic actions by valiant soldiers will be immortalized and remembered for generations to come, as they recount to each other the deeds of the heroes, their defeat of the hotbeds of terrorism and terrorists, their elimination, and the liberation of the Sudanese territories from the militia filth and that of their standing behind them.
The Union has meanwhile congratulated the Sudanese people on this resounding victory, crowned by the armed forces’ successes on Friday in the Khartoum axis and the crushing of terrorist militias in several areas.
The statement eulogized those who have fallen martyrs from among the Sudanese journalists, setting the finest examples of courage, sacrifice, and dedication. The union stated that it has decided to honor them and provide the necessary assistance to their families.
