On Saturday, Sudan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Hassan Hamid Hassan, provided the President of the Human Rights Council with a detailed briefing on events from October 20 until the present.
The Permanent Representative emphasized in his presentation that the international community, including the United Nations and its relevant agencies, has been significantly delayed in condemning the rebel militia and designating it as a terrorist organization.
The meeting aimed to get updates on recent developments in Sudan, particularly the unfortunate events and shocking crimes committed by the RSF militia against innocent civilians in villages east of Al-Gezira State, including incidents in the city of Hilaliya.
