Sudanese PM Denies Reports saying 60% of State Employees Being laid Out

The Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has denied any recommendation submitted to his Cabinet proposing dismissing 60% of employees in federal institutions, public sector, and companies.
In a statement to Al-Karama news website on Wednesday, the Prime Minister said that the rumors circulating about a recommendation submitted by a committee to the Cabinet were baseless and unfounded.
The Prime Minister stressed the need for accuracy and credibility in reporting news and developments related to strategic, important, and sensitive issues.
Idris indicated that the government’s priorities at this stage are the livelihood of citizens, reconstruction, achieving peace, and improving services, emphasizing that the state is working with complete transparency in fulfilling its duty to the nation and its citizens.
