Sudanese Diplomats Conclude Short Training Course in Moscow
Moscow – Sudanhorizon
Eight members of the diplomatic corps from the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation concluded a short training program in Moscow last weekend. The program focused on “International Relations: Russia’s Foreign Policy.”
The trainees attended lectures by professors from the Russian Academy in English, Arabic, and Russian (with translation). The participants were also welcomed by the leadership of the Department of Arab Countries at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, as part of the cultural program, toured Moscow’s landmarks.
At the Diplomatic Academy of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), a meeting was held between the Sudanese diplomats and academy students. The Sudanese diplomats answered questions from the attendees regarding Sudan’s foreign policy and culture.
During the closing ceremony, the Sudanese diplomats expressed their gratitude to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Academy for organizing the program, clarifying Russia’s position on current international issues, and giving them the opportunity to learn about Moscow, before receiving their training completion certificates.
