Sudanese Ambassador to Libya: We Formed a Committee to Support Imprisoned Citizens and Manage the Return of Violators

Sudan’s Ambassador to Libya, Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed, said that the competent authorities at the embassy, in cooperation with the Center for Combating Illegal Immigration and other Libyan authorities, contributed to the release of (51) Sudanese women and men who had entered Libyan territory illegally.
The ambassador confirmed in statements to the Sudanhorizon news website that the embassy pays great attention to Sudanese citizens in detention centers in the sisterly state of Libya to protect their rights and make efforts to facilitate their return to Sudan.
It is noteworthy that the Sudanese Embassy in Libya, Tripoli, has formed a committee concerned with the conditions of Sudanese prisoners and missing persons and communicates with the Libyan authorities in this regard to provide all possible means of protection and care.
