Sudan Participates in FIFA Executive Summit in the United States

The President of the Sudan Football Association, Moatasem Jaafar, is participating in the FIFA Executive Summit 2026, being held in Miami on the sidelines of the 2026 FIFA World Cup>, with the attendance of presidents and secretaries-general of national football associations from around the world.
Representatives from several football associations within the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations region are taking part in the summit, including delegates from Sudan, Burundi, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Rwanda.
The event aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and ideas, strengthen cooperation among member associations, and discuss the future development of football at the global level.
The summit agenda includes reviews of several FIFA-administered programs and projects, most notably the FIFA Forward Programme, which is designed to support and develop national football associations.
Discussions will also cover preparations for the launch of the fourth phase of the program, FIFA Forward 4, which is scheduled to begin in January 2027. The initiative is expected to continue providing financial and technical support to member associations to enhance football development, governance, and infrastructure worldwide.
