Zadna and Sudan Cotton Company Partner to Develop Agricultural Projects

Zadna International Investment Limited and Sudan Cotton Company Limited have discussed ways to enhance their joint cooperation in developing agricultural projects and employing modern technologies to increase productivity and support efforts to advance the agricultural sector in the country.
This came during a meeting held at his office on Monday between Ali Khalifa Askouri, Managing Director of Zadna International Investment Limited, and Lieutenant General Dr. Nasr El-Din Abdel Fattah, Director General of Sudan Cotton Company Limited.
The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in implementing and developing strategic agricultural projects, focusing on the Zadi One and Gezira Scheme projects, which will contribute to increasing agricultural crop productivity and adding value to the national economy.
Lieutenant General Dr. Nasr El-Din Abdel Fattah congratulated Ali Khalifa Askouri on his appointment as Managing Director of Zadna, praising his efforts and expertise in developing institutional performance and enhancing the company’s activities in various fields. He also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between the two companies to support agricultural development and increase production.
For his part, Ali Khalifa Askouri expressed his appreciation for the visit of the Director General of the Sudan Cotton Company, emphasizing that Zadna’s strategy for the coming period focuses on strengthening investments in the agricultural and livestock sectors, contributing to food security and supporting the national economy.
He also noted the importance of coordination and integration with the Sudan Cotton Company, given its status as a leading national institution in the cotton sector and its pivotal role in developing cotton cultivation in Sudan.
Both parties agreed to continue meetings and holding joint consultations in the coming period and to work diligently to develop cooperation mechanisms for implementing projects and achieving the desired development goals in the agricultural sector.
