Sudan and Senegal Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Bilateral Relations and International Coordination

Cheikh Niang, Senegal’s Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs, and Senegalese Abroad, received a written message from Mohieddin Salem Ahmed, Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The message was delivered by Abdelghani Al-Naeem Awad Al-Karim during a meeting held in Dakar.

The Senegalese minister expressed his appreciation for the message and reaffirmed the support of the government and people of Senegal for Sudan’s sovereignty, unity, security, and stability.

He also reiterated his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Sudan and Senegal across various fields of cooperation.

Niang further emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between Khartoum and Dakar in regional and international forums on issues of mutual concern, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and reinforces the longstanding historical ties between them.

The discussions reflected the shared desire of both nations to deepen diplomatic engagement and expand cooperation while maintaining close coordination on regional and international matters.
