Ministry of Finance and Workers’ Bank Sign Contract on “My Payment” Service

The Sudanese Ministry of Finance on Thursday signed a contract with the National Workers’ Bank to provide “My Payment” service, a move aimed at enhancing digital transformation and developing the state’s electronic collection mechanisms.
The contract was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Al-Tayeb Al-Sadiq, Director General of the National Audit Office, while the bank was represented by Abdul Qadir Muhammad Abdul Qadir, Assistant Director General. The signing ceremony was attended by the Ministry’s Legal Advisor, Amir Ibrahim, directors of the Information Technology and Treasury departments, and a high-level delegation from the bank’s Marketing and Technology departments.
The contract aims to facilitate the payment of government fees and financial transactions for people through electronic channels, thereby contributing to increased collection efficiency, reducing reliance on cash transactions, and achieving the highest levels of transparency and financial control.
The Ministry of Finance confirmed that the “My Payment” service will enable people to pay government dues easily and securely through the bank’s applications and authorized service points, supporting the state’s policies on financial inclusion and public revenue governance.
