Minister of Minerals: Removing Obstacles Facing Single Window Gold Exports

Minister of Minerals, Mohamed Bashir Abdullah, has promised to get rid of, and remove, obstacles frustrating procedures of Sudan’s unified window for gold exports.
The minister called on the working group led by Dr. Seif El-Din Ayoub, who presented the performance report for the first quarter, to work for completing the networking which will contribute to the ease and smoothness running of the procedures.
In the meantime, the Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, Geologist and Advisor Ahmed Haroun Al-Tom, received the same team, stressing the need for customer satisfaction to be the main goal of this window.
For his part, the Director of the Window, Dr. Seif El-Din Ayoub, reviewed developments during the first quarter of the year 2025, revealing that gold exports increased to 70% of the total Sudanese exports, and at the same time called for simplification and speeding up of procedures through which the window seeks to facilitate exports of the largest amount of gold.
