Mineral Resources Company Facilitates Return of 5,000 Civilians to Sudan

The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited and the “Hope” Committee for Voluntary Return have signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the return of 5,000 Sudanese citizens from Egypt to Sudan. This initiative is part of the company’s support for the voluntary return of Sudanese citizens abroad.
The memorandum was signed by the company’s Director General, Mohamed Tahir Omar, and the head of the “Hope” Committee, Mohamed Wadaa.
The memorandum stipulates that the company will cover all travel expenses, including services, from Cairo to the land port in Khartoum.
The company’s Director General explained that the initiative is in line with government directives and reflects the company’s sense of social responsibility towards citizens who were forced to live abroad.
He emphasized the company’s commitment to contributing to family reunification and the reconstruction of areas devastated by the war, and expressed his gratitude to the Egyptian government and people for their hospitality.
For his part, the head of the Hope Committee for Voluntary Return, Mohamed Wadah, announced that trips will soon depart from Cairo to Khartoum using 60 tourist buses, praising the company’s management for its great response in contributing to the return of citizens, and noting that the initiative comes within the framework of national responsibility to implement a program that meets the aspirations of Sudanese people wishing to return home.
