Minawi Accuses Foreign Entities of Continuing Military Support for Rebels

Sudanhorizon – Reports
Governor of the Darfur region, Minni Arko Minawi, revealed that 400 weaponized vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have entered Sudan through the border with Libya.
In a post on his accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook on Thursday, Minawi accused unnamed foreign entities of continuing to support the militia through the Libyan corridor with various military equipment.
In recent days, the Sudanese army, supported by other regular forces, joint forces, and mobilized units, has reclaimed several areas, including the cities of Mellit in North Darfur, Wad Banda in West Kordofan, and Bout in the Blue Nile region. Additionally, it has retaken Wad Madani, the capital of Al-Jazirah State.
General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, chairman of the Sovereignty Council, stated in a press briefing on Wednesday that military forces are progressing steadily toward reclaiming all seized locations. For the first time, Al-Burhan disclosed that 70% of the RSF forces stationed at the Al-Jaili refinery north of Khartoum State are foreign mercenaries.
Sudan has accused the United Arab Emirates of supporting the RSF in its war against the Sudanese people and backing political factions aligned with the terrorist militia.
