Khartoum State: Reopening of Jaber Abu Al-Ezz Diabetes Center

During his visit yesterday (Thursday) to the Jaber Abu Al-Ezz Specialized Diabetes Center, the Acting Minister and Director General of the Khartoum State Ministry of Health, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri, inspected the ongoing rehabilitation and maintenance work. He received a briefing on the implementation phases, the percentage of completion, and the efforts being made to finalize the technical and engineering equipment in preparation for the center’s reopening and the resumption of its treatment and specialized services in the coming days.
The Acting Minister was accompanied on the visit by the Chairman of the Sudanese National Council for Medical Specialties, Professor Al-Rashid Abdullah, and the Rapporteur of the Council’s Emergency Committee, Dr. Ibrahim Hamad Al-Nil, according to the Sudan News Agency.
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Badri emphasized that the reopening of the Jaber Abu Al-Ezz Center represents a significant step in the Ministry’s efforts to restore specialized health services in Khartoum State. He stressed the necessity of completing the rehabilitation work according to the highest technical standards, ensuring a comprehensive treatment environment that meets the needs of diabetic patients and contributes to improving the quality of health services provided to citizens.
The visit comes as part of a field program implemented by the Ministry of Health to follow up on projects to rehabilitate health institutions affected by the war, and to expedite their return to service in support of the stability of the health system and the expansion of specialized services in the state.
