Kadeer Commissioner: We reclaimed the Occupied Areas, Prepae for the Return of IDPs

The government of South Kordofan State has reaffirmed that Kadeer province is experiencing stable security conditions, thanks to the cohesion of the home front and the armed forces’ full fulfillment of their responsibilities along all borders.
Commissionwe of Kadeer, Issam al-Din al-Sayed, told Sudanhorizon that the province is preparing to receive returnees through the voluntary return program in the coming days, attributing this to the improved security situation following the significant victories achieved by the Sudanese army.
The officials has revealed that security forces have liberated the areas of Umm Dahilib, al-Dakka Karama, and al-Tarida from the militia, emphasizing that the province is witnessing complete stability in all its areas. He noted that the tribal groups in the area have a strong desire to return to their towns, villages, and settlements.
The commissioner has explained that relevant authorities in the province had contacted security agencies, the Humanitarian Aid Commission, and local administration to arrange for the return of citizens. He added that the first group would be from the village of Al-Dakka, currently residing in the Abu Jubaiha camp for displaced persons.
The official noted that the Sudanese Certificate examinations had proceeded smoothly and that preparations were underway for the basic education examinations. He added that the pilot exams for the primary level would be launched soon, expressing his expectation that students would achieve good results that met their aspirations.

Regarding development projects, the commissioner indicated that they were progressing rapidly in the areas of water, sanitation, education, and places of worship. He explained that contracts had been signed for the construction of several water wells, and that work had begun on rehabilitating water stations in the Tusi and Umm Dahlib areas, the Al-Dakka region, and the city of Kaluqi. He also mentioned the completion of the main water pumping station.
The official added that work has begun on rehabilitating the Martyr Issa Dhaifallah Rural Hospital in Kaluqi, and it will be staffed with the necessary medical personnel to provide services to the residents of the Triangle region. Regarding food and fuel supplies, he confirmed their availability and the smooth flow of movement for citizens without any security threats.
It is worth noting that the city of Kaluqi was previously targeted by drone attacks carried out by the militia, resulting in civilian casualties
