Banking Services: Over 141 Million Interbank Transfers in the First Half of Current Fiscal

A special report issued by the Electronic Banking Services Company revealed a 52.44% increase in the use of interbank transfers in the first half of 2026 compared to 2025.
The report, issued by the Marketing and Business Development Department of the Electronic Banking Services Company and obtained by Sudanhorizon, has confirmed that the number of transactions executed in 2026 (up to June 25) has reached 141,461,335, compared to 92,800,820 transactions in 2025.
The company explained that the total number of transactions executed during the two years reached 234,262,155, indicating a significant leap that reflects the substantial expansion and increasing reliance of users on digital channels.
