Al-Hilal vs. Algerian Mouloudia Tonight in a Match Without Audience

Algeria – Sudanhorizon

Sudan’s Al-Hilal will be a guest of Algerian Mouloudia tonight (Saturday) in the Algerian capital, within the 3rd Round of the African Champions’ League group stage, for Group One.

The Sudanese team enters the match with 6 points after beating the Tanzanian Alshabab and Congolese Mazembe, topping the group, while the Algerian side comes in second with 4 points after defeating Congolese Mazembe and drawing with Tanzanian Alshabab.

Al-Hilal coach Florent Ibenge said he believes the match will be difficult because Mouloudia is one of the best clubs in Africa and is playing the match on its home ground.

He said in press statements “we must give our best level performance, so that we can reach our goal, and we hope to come out with a positive result.” He added, “I participated in the group draw in Cairo. We were in the third classification, and Mouloudia was fourth. Of course, according to the classification, we and Mouloudia were the least likely to book a place in the next round, but the situation is different now. We and Mouloudia have the same approach and goal to advance to the quarter-finals.”

Mouloudia Algiers coach Amir Boumel told journalists that it was important for his team to win over the group leader and come out with the match points. He regretted the absence of the audience due to (CAF) sanctions that prevented Mouloudia from playing in front of its fans due to crowd trouble
