Al-Burhan Issues Directives to State Governors

The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Thursday with the governors of the states, in the presence of the Undersecretary for the Ministry of Federal Government.
Abdul Khaliq Abdul Latif, the Governor of North Kordofan state, pointed out in press statement that the meeting comes within the framework of the support to be rendered by state governments for the “battle of national dignity”, in which the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the forces supporting them defend the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people.
He added that the governors received constructive directives from the President of the Sovereign Council on the progress of work during the next stage and the government’s efforts to support the mandates in the field of providing the necessary services to people and achieving security and stability for them.
The governor explained that the governors also debriefed head of the Sovereign Council on the efforts undertaken by their governments in supporting the armed forces until they reach the desired goals of expelling the terrorist rebel Rapid Support militia from all parts of the country, as well as the performance of the popular resistance in the states and the efforts to mobilize citizens to support the armed forces morally, materially and militarily.
Al-Burhan also listened to briefing on the horizontal and vertical coordination relations at the federal, state and local levels of government, which aim to achieve harmony and coordination between the different government entities and bodies
