Al-Burhan to Visit Turkey Today”

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, is due to depart today (Thursday) for the Turkish capital, Ankara, in response to an official invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Diplomatic sources expect the visit to last two days, during which discussions will focus on bilateral relations, developments in Sudan, the humanitarian situation in the country, and possible frameworks for achieving peace and stability in Sudan and the wider region.
