Satellite images released Saturday by the Yale University Humanitarian Affairs Lab showed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continuing their mass disposal of bodies in El Fasher, North Darfur.

The lab stated in a report that it “assesses that the RSF continues to carry out mass disposals of bodies in areas that were home to large numbers of civilians before the mass killings that began on October 26.”

It noted that satellite images detected the disposal of bodies at two locations: one at the Saudi Hospital and the other in the First Class neighborhood, where the lab had previously identified evidence consistent with mass killings.

The First Class neighborhood is the last remaining densely populated area inhabited by civilians displaced from other neighborhoods and the Abu Shouk camp during the attacks that preceded the RSF’s takeover of El Fasher.

According to reports from the United Nations and human rights organizations, the RSF militia committed mass killings, executed patients, and raped women after seizing control of El Fasher.

The laboratory reported that satellite imagery showed no visible activity in seven markets in El Fasher since the RSF took control, including the Grand Market, Umm Dafsu, Nifasha, Abuja, and the livestock markets.

It explained that the combination of burning bodies, the absence of traditional burial practices, and the lack of activity in the markets raises serious concerns about the fate of civilians in El Fasher.

The laboratory also reported observing RSF vehicle movements at the El Fasher water station, with no indication of civilian presence, noting that the station was damaged in late August and September 2025.
