Al-Burhan and Dbeibah Discuss Common Security Issues

The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt. General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, discussed with the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hameed Mohammed Dbeibah, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them in various fields.
The two officials also discussed developments in Sudan and key issues and developments of mutual interest.
The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of their participation in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025, hosted by the Turkish city of Antalya, has emphasized the importance of unifying political positions on several regional issues and supporting efforts to achieve security, stability, and peace in Sudan.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the General Sudanese Intelligence Service, Lt. General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, and the Director of the Defense Industries Organization, Lt. General Mirghani Idris, along with the Sudanese Ambassador to Türkiye, Nader Youssef.
