General Al-Burhan Closes the Door of Negotiation with the Militia and Vows to Eliminate Them Forever

Al-Batana – Sudahorizon

General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, visited the frontlines at Al-Ghar Camp in the Al-Batana region on Sunday. He reviewed the readiness of the Al-Batana Shield Forces, led by Commander Abu Aqla Keikel, in combating the rebellion.

Addressing the troops, Al-Burhan emphasized that the “Battle of Dignity” is ongoing, bolstered by strong popular support for this national cause. He highlighted the participation of the Armed Forces, joint forces, the Northern Shield, and Sudan Shield and mobilized volunteers in the fight against what he described as a “terrorist militia.”

He praised the people of Al-Batana for their sacrifices and bravery in defending the nation and commended Nazir Abu Sen’s wisdom and leadership for his unwavering support of the Armed Forces.

Al-Burhan reaffirmed that there would be no negotiation or truce with the rebels, stating, “Everyone is determined to end the rebellion and eradicate it forever.” He also acknowledged Commander Abu Aqla Keikel for returning to the fold and joining the Armed Forces in the “Battle of Dignity.”

The general expressed disappointment with the international community’s lack of attention to the situation in Sudan, referencing unimplemented UN Security Council resolutions regarding the lifting of the siege on El-Fasher and the continued supply of arms to the militia.

He assured that the state is committed to equipping all forces participating in the “Battle of Dignity” with the necessary weapons and equipment, stating, “We will not stop the war until the militia is defeated or surrenders.”
