Niger Chooses Togo as Its Virtual Stadium to Face Sudan

Lome – Sudanhorizon

The Nigerien Football Federation has chosen the KG Stadium in Lome, the capital of Togo, as a virtual stadium to face the Sudanese national team in the fifth round of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations finals in Morocco (2025), scheduled for Thursday, November 14.

The team traveled to Morocco two days ago to hold a short camp there based on a previous decision by the Nigerien Federation to hold the match in Rabat.

The technical director of the Sudanese national team, Kwasi Appiah, will open the Niger match file today, on Wednesday, with morning and evening training and receiving a group of players in the Libyan league.

It is noteworthy that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has banned holding continental matches in Niger stadiums because its stadiums do not meet international standards.
