The BRICS leaders have expressed deep concern regarding the deteriorating situation in Sudan, including the worsening humanitarian crisis and the growing risk of the spread of extremism and terrorism.
The “New Delhi Declaration” was issued on Sunday, following the group’s 18th summit, held in the Indian capital on September 12 and 13.

The leaders reiterated their previous positions on the matter, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to the conflict through dialogue.
The declaration emphasized the need to ensure sustainable, urgent, and unhindered humanitarian access for the population in Sudan, as well as the need to increase aid provided to Sudan and neighboring countries.
