Al-Hilal Overcome Burundi’s Aigle Noir to Reach Second Round

Sudan’s Al-Hilal joined their rivals Al-Merrikh in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League after defeating Burundi’s Aigle Noir 1-0 in the second leg on Saturday afternoon at Al-Hilal’s temporary home venue in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali.

Al-Hilal had won the first leg 2-1 away from home, securing their place in the next round with a perfect six points from two matches.
