Joint Forces Spokesperson: Strategic Areas Liberated in Kordofan; Militias Sustained Heavy Losses

The official spokesperson for the Joint Forces, Major Mutawakkil Ali Wakil, confirmed that the Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, and supporting forces have liberated the towns of Kazqil, Al-Hamadi, Shushai, Umm Dhuraysaya, and Faris on Saturday morning. He indicated that rebel forces in North and South Kordofan states had been destroyed.
In an exclusive statement, Wakil explained that Kazqil, Al-Hamadi, Shushai, and Umm Dhuraysaya are large towns and strategic locations for the army. They are characterized by agricultural lands, gold mining, and a high population density.
Wakil stated that the forces seized significant spoils from the rebel militias during the battles, including 37 fully equipped combat vehicles, the destruction of 27 vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces militias, and the capture of a large number of their members.
He added that military operations are continuing steadily and resolutely, stressing the progress of forces on various fronts from Kazqil to Al-Hamadi with confident steps, emphasizing that the battle for the dignity of the homeland is ongoing and will not stop until all Sudanese lands are liberated from the rebel militias presence.
