Ministry of Finance Signs Framework Agreement to Enhance Financial Process Efficiency and Transparency

The Sudanese Ministry of Finance signed a framework agreement on Friday with eleven companies that met the required technical and legal criteria. These companies have been pre-qualified to participate in limited tenders for the supply of mobile electronic collection devices (POS) for use by various government entities.
Abdul-Mohsen Ahmed, Deputy Director General of the National Accounts Bureau at the Ministry, signed on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, while representatives signed on behalf of the respective companies.
Eng. Lamia Mohamed El-Nour, Director General of Information Technology and Head of the Technical Committee for Electronic Collection and Payment, revealed that the Ministry has moved to adopt mobile POS devices as a modern, secure method for collecting public revenue. She explained that the agreement aims to upgrade government collection systems, enhance the efficiency and transparency of financial operations, and keep pace with the digital transformation in government service delivery.
