Sudan Attracts Investors at China’s Largest Mining Exhibition

The Sudanese pavilion has attracted significant interest from investors and international companies as the 28th edition of the China Mining Conference and Exhibition (China Mining) opened Thursday in China’s Tianjin Municipality. The Sudanese delegation is headed by Minister of Minerals Nour al-Daim Taha.

Sudan’s participation comes as part of Khartoum’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with China in the mining sector, highlight the promising investment opportunities available in the industry, and explore prospects for partnerships with international companies and institutions operating in the field.

The Sudanese pavilion drew strong interest from participants and industry stakeholders, with several parties expressing interest in the available opportunities in light of the country’s substantial mineral resources and vast potential, which could help attract investment and develop the sector.
