Sudan’s High Committee for Lawsuits Reviews Performance Reports

Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, directed the High Committee for Lawsuits to closely monitor and fulfill its assigned tasks.
This directive came during the meeting of the committee which he headed. The said committee is responsible for reviewing international cases filed against Sudan, or those filed by Sudan against any international entity.
The meeting reviewed reports from committee members, including detailed and comprehensive reports from the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs, and the General Intelligence Service.
The meeting also reviewed the ongoing arrangements and assigned tasks for these entities to defend Sudan’s rights and interests, as well as the rights of its citizens, in any public lawsuits in which Sudan is a party.
