Sudanese Diplomatic Mission in the UK Briefs Accredited Missions on Ethiopia’s Involvement in Aggression Against Sudan
London – Sudanhorizon
The Head of the Sudanese Diplomatic Mission in the UK, Babikir Al-Siddiq Mohamed Al-Amin, stated that Sudan has exercised a policy of restraint and acted with wisdom toward Ethiopia, aiming to spare the region from further conflict and in the hope that the Ethiopian regime would come to its senses and return to a rational course.
In a detailed briefing provided Friday to diplomatic missions accredited in London, am bassador Al-Siddiq outlined the sequence of events in Sudan, focusing on recent acts of aggression against the country. These include the use of drones launched from bases within Ethiopian territory, as well as the movement of the rebellious Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and their mercenary allies from Ethiopian soil to attack border cities and towns in Sudan’s Blue Nile region.
The Ambassador noted that Sudan has filed a formal complaint against Ethiopia with both the African Union Peace and Security Council and the United Nations Security Council. He stated that the complaint is supported by documentation and satellite imagery that substantiate the claims made by the Sudanese government.
