High Committee to Review Lawsuits Before Regional and International Courts Meets

Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, presided over the  meeting of the High Committee to review lawsuits filed by the Sudanese government before regional and international courts of law.

The meeting addressed cases in which Sudan is a party before international courts, whether as plaintiff or defendant.

It also discussed the most effective and appropriate methods to enable Sudan to pursue its legal proceedings before these courts and win these cases.

The committee reaffirmed its confidence in the Sudanese judicial system, the judiciary, and Sudanese lawyers, who possess extensive and sufficient experience to handle cases of importance to Sudan in regional and international courts.

The committee includes representatives from the Ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Interior, and Finance, as well as the judiciary, the Public Prosecution, and other relevant government agencies.
