Khartoum State Underlines the Role of Musical Band in Strengthening National Identity

The Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Othman Hamza, visited the family of martyr Arki Abdel Rahim in the Al-Shajara Al-Hamadab quarter, accompanied by the Acting Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism for the state, and Gen.Dr. Sami Al-Dhay, representing the Director of the Khartoum State Security Authority.
The visitors were received by the martyr’s family and the group’s director, Nasr Al-Din Haider, as martyr Arki was a key member of the “Aqad Al-Jalad” musical band.
The Governor praised the group’s national and artistic contributions and its role in strengthening national identity through art that expresses collective action. He also commended martyr Arki’s honorable stances in the Battle of Dignity.
The Governor of Khartoum also offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs, enumerating their virtues and achievements, and emphasizing that their immense sacrifices embody the highest meaning of selflessness for the sake of Sudan remaining a safe and stable homeland.
For his part, the Director General and Acting Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Al-Tayeb Saad El-Din, affirmed that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain etched in the national consciousness, and that they are a source of inspiration, pride, and honor for the Sudanese people.
Dr. Ahmed Youssef, Director of the Martyr Othman Makawi Center, stated that the martyrs represent exemplary national figures who gave their lives for the homeland.
