Bank of Khartoum Leadership Visits the Kenana Sugar Factory

The CEO of Bank of Khartoum, Lamia Kamal Sati, concluded her visit to the Kenana Sugar Factory in Kenana, White Nile State, aimed to reaffirm the bank’s commitment to engaging with major economic and industrial institutions in the country.

The CEO was accompanied by Tijani Karama, Director of Branches; Mohamed Luay, Head of Compliance and Governance; Zahia Mohamed Abdeen, Secretary of the Board of Directors and Director of Business Development and Corporate Performance; and Mohamed Al-Mustafa, representing the bank’s Administrative Affairs Department.

The Bank of Khartoum delegation was received by Mohamed Ahmed Al-Haboub, Deputy Managing Director of Kenana Sugar Company and Director of the Kenana Factory; Ezz El-Din Mohamed Ahmed, Agricultural Director; Salma Al-Helou, Deputy Financial Director of Kenana Sugar Company; Tariq Al-Jaz, Site Services Manager; Ahmed Omar, Accounts Manager; and Zaher Al-Tayeb, Public Relations and Visitor Services Manager.

The management of Kenana Sugar Company gave a tour of the factory to a visiting delegation from Bank of Khartoum. The tour was attended by Khalid Mohamed Ahmed, Director of the White Nile Region at Bank of Khartoum, Ahmed Mohamed Mustafa, Manager of the bank’s Kenana branch, and several other Bank of Khartoum executives and representatives from the Erada Microfinance Company in the region.

The tour included visits to sugar plantations at various stages of growth, the Kenana Sugar Factory, the ethanol plant, the fertilizer plant, the packaging plant, and the production farm.
