Al-Burhan Commends the Efforts of the “White Army”

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, announced on Thursday his commitment to providing full support to Sudan’s health sector, particularly in the field of combating epidemics.

The remarks were made during his field visit to the Ministry of Health in Khartoum, where he praised the ministry’s staff and all medical cadres, commending their significant role in the Battle of Dignity and their continued commitment to delivering health services to citizens despite the challenges.

Al-Burhan provided support to the Federal Vector Control Support Team in the form of 15 vehicles to assist with field spraying operations, in addition to offering support to the ministry and health personnel.

For his part, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council for his attention to the health sector in the country and for the substantial support provided. The minister also presented a comprehensive report on the current health situation in Sudan.
