The head of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Ali Salah, has praised the measures and the important role played by the Central Bank of Sudan (CBS) in addressing the significant decline in the value of the Sudanese pound against other currencies recently because of speculation.
In a press statement, the head of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce commended the measures and policies recently adopted by the government to curb the rise of the dollar by ensuring its availability in all banks, which has positively impacted the strengthening of the Sudanese pound against foreign currencies.
Ali Salah affirmed the support of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, its specialized chambers, and all members of the commercial sector for these sound decisions and measures taken by the government to strengthen the value of the Sudanese pound and stabilize the markets.
