(300) Refrigerated Containers of Saudi Medical Supplies for Sudan

On Thursday, the Federal Ministry of Health announced the arrival of a team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to coordinate the resumption of humanitarian and medical aid to Sudan. The ministry confirmed that over (300) refrigerated containers of medicines and medical supplies will arrive by the end of this year.
In a press statement from Port Sudan, Federal Health Minister Haitham Ibrahim expressed gratitude, stating, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, has been among the first countries to support Sudan, providing grants and ranking high in aid provision despite Sudan’s significant need for medicines and medical supplies. The support has been substantial and greatly appreciated.”
The Health Minister thanked the Saudi government and people for the significant efforts of the King Salman Center in delivering humanitarian and medical aid, especially in the fields of medicines, medical supplies, medical teams, and treatment camps. He noted that numerous projects are underway with the support of the King Salman Center.
