USA Revokes Visas for South Sudan Passport Holders

Washington, sudanhorizon
United States on Saturday announced that it would revoke all visas granted to South Sudanese passport holders as their government has failed to receive South Sudanese nationals who have been deported by the US Administration for security reasons.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement that South Sudan has failed to respect the principle that every country must accept the return of its citizens in a timely manner when another country, including the United States, seeks to deport them.
He added that effective immediately, the US Department of State is taking action to revoke all visas held by South Sudanese passport holders and to prevent further issuance of visas to prevent their entry into the United States.
He added that his administration would be prepared to review these actions when South Sudanese government cooperate fully with the US decisions.
It is to be noted that since President Trump return to the White House, the US administration has launched a massive campaign to deport those it considered illegally residing on the US soil.
