Undersecretary of Minerals Dr. Hind Al-Siddiq Pledges Support to Strengthen Mining Sector

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Minerals, Dr. Hind Al-Siddiq, emphasized the principle of transparency and commitment to it.
During her first meeting with department heads at the Ministry and the General Authority for Geological Research, she indicated that she will work to support and strengthen the mining sector and develop it by optimally exploiting minerals through a strategic vision embodied in sustainability, concern for the environment and citizen health, and supporting the national economy.
She revealed, while handing over the geological and chemical maps to the Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research after receiving them from Rose Geo, that the Russian documents contain a robust database for recovering all the geological documents and reports lost during the war.
Hind stated that there is a plan to recover and preserve the information securely.
The Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, Consultant Geologist Ahmed Haroun, provided a detailed explanation of the work of the Ministry’s and the Authority’s emergency committees during the war.
It is noteworthy that the Director of the General Authority for Geological Research received the Russian documents from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Minerals, Dr. Hind Siddiq, following her participation in the Kazan Conference in Russia.
