Twenty-Five Young Persons Train on How to Support Sudanese Youth in Egypt

The first training course in digitization, artificial intelligence, and the Internet, “ICDL Diploma,” was launched Sunday at the temporary headquarters of Sudatel Training Academy (Sudacad) in Cairo, Giza Governorate.

The nine-day course is organized in partnership between the Sudanese Support Initiative for War and Disaster-Affected Sudanese, the Islamic World Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ICESCO), and the Arab Union for Industrial Export Development.

Twenty-five young men and women are participating in the course, which is conducted by Sudanese trainers at the Sudatel Academy.
The Sudanese Support Initiative is a voluntary civil society organization registered in Egypt. Dr. Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister of Egypt, chairs the organization’s Board of Directors, and Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, former Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League for Economic Affairs, acts as his deputy. Ambassador Salah Halima, former representative of the Arab League in Sudan, and Professor Amira Al-Fadil, former Commissioner for Social Affairs at the African Union, are among the leading members of the organization.
